The key never reaches us
Notes and transfers are sealed in your browser with AES-256-GCM. The key rides in the URL fragment, which browsers never send to a server.
The primitives are checkable
argon2id, AES-256-GCM and BIP39 run against published reference vectors in your own tab. The terminal above does it on every load.
The boundary is written down
What is sealed, what is public and what the server must see is documented per surface — including where it is not end-to-end.
start without one
Notes and transfers need no account at all. An account adds storage, aliases, messages and a public profile — and it takes a username, a passphrase and a recovery phrase you write down. No email.
